North Carolina Specialty Hospital's new facility began seeing patients on May 23rd, 2005. A special place for children, infants to teens, catering to them and their parents in an exceptional way.
We believe in surgical care at it's best.
Our entire clinical teams, including pre-op, operating room, PACU, in-patient and pharmacy teams are PALS certified. We know how important this pediatric advance life support certification is and will keep you confident about our skills and commitment to pediatric care. We also take the time to keep our pre-op, OR and PACU teams educated on pediatric anesthesia management.
We cover the basics, offering age specific education from infants to teens and their respective guardians. As a confidence builder and nerve soother, we will host a pediatric pre-op party tour prior to the surgery for our special guests, upon request.
