Today North Carolina Specialty Hospital continues the legacy of its founding practitioners. The hospital has expanded its specialties in orthopedic, ophthalmology, ear, nose, and throat surgeries to include sports medicine, gynecology, oral, plastic, podiatry, general and reconstructive surgery.
With highly skilled and experienced physicians and a 4:1 patient/registered nurse ratio, North Carolina Specialty Hospital continuously meets patient needs with the most advance medical procedures and personalized care. North Carolina Specialty Hospital's new facility began seeing patients on May 23rd, 2005. Housed in an impressive 56,000 square foot building, this state-of-the-art medical center provides patients with high-tech, individualized care.
The new facility on Ben Franklin Boulevard begins a new era for North Carolina Specialty Hospital. Amenities include a personal chef and private rooms. The latest technology is used in all four operating rooms and minor procedure rooms.
North Carolina Specialty Hospital's staff of expertly trained physicians will continue to break new ground using cutting-edge procedures in sports medicine and reconstructive surgery. This commitment to advancement helped earn the hospital a ranking of #1 in Joint Replacement and Spine Surgery in the Raleigh - Durham Region for 2007.
